A ball that hits the pitcher's protective shield will be called a dead ball.
A hitter can have a substitute runner. The substitute runner must be the last called out hitter.
The substitute runner is only allowed first base. After the next hitter, the substitute runner can run to any base.
The two (2) teams will supply the bats and be made available to any players.
Any contact on the base path will not be tolerated.
Sliding is only allowed on 2nd and 3rd base.
A runner can steal home on a pop fly caught in the outfield.
A runner that crosses the line between 3rd base and home cannot return to 3rd base.
The bases will be set 65' apart.
A limit of four (4) runs per inning is allowed except for the 9th inning where there are no limits.
All umpire calls are final and must be respected.
A player arriving late, can be added to the roster but must be added last in the batting order. If the player is still not available at his time to bat, he will be automatically called out and count as an out for the team. If he is still absent after that, he must be removed from the roster without any penalty.
Any play will be stopped once the pitcher has the ball in his glove. A dropped ball by the relay player is considered in play and the runners will advance one (1) base.
To avoid beeing implicated in the play, we ask that the pitcher positions himself between the protection shield and home base.
A player that is running to first (1) base must touch the orange part of the base, otherwise he will be automatically called out.
A hitter that uses a substitute runner must not cross the line between home base and first (1st) base, otherwise he will be called out.
Cancelled games will be played on Tuesday.
Beer, soft drinks and water bottles will be available at the end of each game. We are counting on the players to make a contribution, all profits will be put back into our league.
The team that starts play at 10:00am cannot start an inning past 11:15am.
